Olde Raleigh Distillery
ZEBULON, NORTH CAROLINA
Brandon McCraney, owner, proprietor, master blender and distiller at Olde Raleigh Distillery poured hours of thought and care into his craft. This is seen through the elaborate bottle design and label he created for his early releases, it is unique and stands out in any bourbon line up! As Brandon was searching for a brick and mortar, he landed around the corner from our shop in Zebulon, NC. He approached our team to help create a vision for his space – showcasing his brand, distilling equipment and inviting locals to enjoy a glass together at the bar. We were up for the challenge and knew we needed to match his eye for detail.
The features inside and outside of the distillery create a cohesive experience that tie together the Distillery, the Society Room event space, and the back of house tour where the product is made. Our team worked closely with architects, contractors, and local shop Oak City Customs to see the project through. Our team selected light fixtures, paint colors, furnishings, and finishes throughout, we even created a custom wallcovering. A steel frame and yellow pine structure sits at the back of the bar space to highlight the custom bottle with a diffused LED light panel. With Oak City Customs, the bar design and custom table tops took shape utilizing and repurposing the rafters Brandon removed from the original ceiling.
With each detail we focused on staying polished and refined. We are excited to see how the space continues to be supported by our local community– and how ORD sends that support right back by creating community. Be sure to check out the Olde Raleigh Whiskey Society to learn more!
